Polylactic acid spunlace fabric
Features:
• Polylactic acid (PLA) spunlace nonwoven fabric is made primarily from starch-based crops such as corn and cassava, or from agricultural and forestry residues like straw. The process begins with microbial fermentation and extraction to produce lactic acid, which is then refined, dehydrated into oligomers, subjected to high-temperature pyrolysis, and finally polymerized. PLA exhibits excellent biodegradability; after disposal, it can be completely degraded by microorganisms in the soil, yielding CO2 and water, thereby contributing to the protection of the ecological environment.
